Dr. Simplice Asongu is a globally recognized economist with over 400 publications in top-tier academic journals. Ranked among the top 10 economists worldwide by RePEc, he holds a PhD from Oxford Brookes University. He currently serves as the Lead Economist and Director of the African Governance and Development Institute (Yaoundé, Cameroon).

Mohammed Shahbaz

Dr.  Shahbaz is a leading scholar whose research spans development economics, energy economics, and international finance. He is a prolific author with over 600 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Widely recognized as one of the world’s top economists by RePEc, Dr. Shahbaz has also been ranked among the top 5 active researchers from developing countries by the World Bank.

The Center for Applied Social Research and Innovation (CASRI) at the University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences is a dynamic platform for conducting applied research in the social sciences. CASRI brings together academic staff from various faculties and collaborates with internationally recognized research advisors to produce high-impact, policy-relevant studies. The Center addresses key areas such as labor markets, environmental sustainability, education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
